Steve Summerhill has enjoyed the sport of fly fishing for the past 28 years in Alaska, Montana, Wyoming, and Idaho. Having guided for the past 14 years, he has a good understanding of what it takes to be a successful guide in an ever growing business. Steve has a Bachelor of Science degree from Montana State University and has published works in Flyfisher magazine. He has taught fly fishing classes for both an Orvis endorsed lodge as well as The River's Edge fly shop in Bozeman, Montana where he is currently one of the owners.
Dave
McKee, A native of Pennsylvania, was first
introduced to the art of fly-fishing and at the age of nine.
Bass and bluegills from local farm ponds were his first logical
quarry, yet in time, the trout of that area's fabled limestone
creeks captured his full attention. After graduating from Colby
College in Maine where landlocked salmon, brook trout and smallmouth
bass proved a major distraction from studies, Dave moved to Wyoming
to work as a backcountry fishing and hunting guide in the Wind
River Range and the Teton Wilderness.
For the last five years Dave has resided in Bozeman, Montana
where he works as a guide for The
River's Edge fly shop, as a course instructor for the Montana
Fly Fishing Guide School, and as a freelance writer. His Sunday
Outdoors column appears each week in the Bozeman Daily Chronicle.
